Craigslist buyer attempted to rob by a woman in Raleigh
Transaction on craigslist is not safe now. There are lots of incidents of robbery during transaction of different items. Women are involved in incidents of robbery. A woman of Massachusetts, Raleigh has been arrested for attempting to rob a man. She listed cell phone on craigslist for sale. The victim Ibrahima Diouf wanted to purchase six phones for $1,100. He responded to the ad listed by Sherie Brooks. They make a deal and decided place for meeting. When they reached at decided place buyer urged to see the cell phones before purchasing. Instead of showing cell phones, she demanded money at gun point. The buyer resisted and denies handing over the money. Sherie Brooks started firing and one bullet hit the victim car. No major damage done and he remained safe from injuries. Sherie Brooks, who is thirty two years of age and lives in 320 Broughton Road, was arrested. She was caught red handed. She charged to attempt a robbery with a deadly weapon. She was charged with $75,000 and sent to jail. Few months prior to this incident, two sisters were charged with same allegation. She had involved in such attempts of robbery. Craigslist is on target by robbers.
